Abstract
Boiling heat transfer of liquid helium at 4.2°K has been studied under conditions of forced flow through rectangular channels. The heat transfer characteristic is dependent on whether the flow is laminar or turbulent. Both types of flow give greatly increased heat transfer, turbulent flow being superior. A correlation of the heat transfer data was obtained. Keywords
