Abstract
A spherical model of the bound magnetic polaron in wide-gap semimagnetic semiconductors is described. The analysis includes effects due to the saturation of the spin-correlation function between the carrier and the magnetic ions. Magnetic fluctuations enter in a natural way: The assumption that the magnetic entropy follows the classical Gaussian form is not used. Keywords
