Abstract
A set of restriction fragments cloned into phage .lambda. vectors allowed the location of a site necessary for full rpoBC expression. These genes for the 2 large subunits of RNA polymerase [of Escherichia coli] and the genes, rplL and rplJ, for 2 ribosomal proteins, apparently form a single operon. Keywords
