Abstract
A three-phase DC-to-DC LCC-type resonant converter with high-frequency transformer isolation is proposed. The operating mode, and a simple analysis of the converter are presented. Design curves are obtained and a design example is given. SPICE simulation and experimental recruits for the designed converter are presented to verify the performance of the proposed converter for varying load conditions. The converter proposed has several advantages, e.g., operates in lagging PF mode for the entire load range, requires a narrow variation in switching frequency, reduced component size and stresses, etc. Keywords
