Results of Cultural and Serological Tests for Pleuropneumonia-like Organisms in Reiter's Disease

Abstract
In 31 male patients with active Reiter''s disease, Oates, Whittington and Wilkinson found positive cultures for pleuropneumonia-like organisms in 9, and positive complement-fixation tests in 16. On the basis of their findings they believe that PPLO organisms may play an etiologic part in this condition.Keywords
