Abstract
A kinetic model is developed for N2-O2 flowing discharges and post-discharges with self-consistent calculations of N2(X,V) vibrational distribution, N, O and NO densities and gas temperature. A satisfactory agreement is obtained between theory and experiments in N2-O2 flowing microwave discharges for intensities of N2, NO and NO2 bands and densities of N and O atoms in the N2-O2 afterglow. Keywords
