The vascular images were studied in 37 cases of primary liver cancer. In well differentiated hepatoma, vascular proliferation, tumor stain and A-V shunt formation are regarded as specific features. In anaplastic hepatoma and cholangiocarcinoma, however, it is difficult to assign a definite pattern, apart from the peculiarity of tumor vessels, relating to the histologic diagnosis of the tumor. Formation of collateral circulation in cholangiocarcinoma is considered to be a relatively rare finding.
