Abstract
A high incidence of cerebral aneurysms and cerebrovascular accidents was observed among 200 patients. Cerebral hemorrhages are usually secondary to severe hypertension. Emboli are secondary to thrombi which form in an aneurysmal dilation proximal to the site of coarctation or to subacute bacterial endocarditis. Headaches were extremely frequent and were often the major symptom. Keywords
