Abstract
A small diameter, gaseous Cerenkov detector has been developed for use as a reactor power monitor. Measurements have confirmed its ability to detect power-related high energy prompt gammas while discriminating against a significant flux of low energy fission product decay gammas. Other advantages of the detector are also mentioned. Keywords
