Abstract
Cytomegalovirus (CMV) infected the myenteric plexus of the small and large bowels in an 18-yr-old renal transplant patient. This is seemingly a previously unreported condition. The patient died of a massive gastrointestinal hemorrhage, which possibly resulted from a series of CMV cecal ulcers associated with Candida fungal hyphae and spores. This publication has 11 references indexed in Scilit:
