The enzyme-linked-immunosorbent-assay (E.L.I.S.A.) using whole and purified hydatid antigens was applied to the diagnosis of human hydatid disease. This sensitive and economical method provides new possibilities for the specific diagnosis of parasitic diseases by automated procedures.
