Abstract
Brewer''s (bottom) yeast and baker''s (top) yeast were compared. No relation was found between the flavine contents and their respiratory intensity. The differences in diaphoresis are small. Baker''s yeast respires more actively. The relation of the conGs. of cytochrome varies in the various components (a-component: 6; b-component (only in baker''s yeast); c-component: 3.45).
