Abstract
X-RAY therapy has been employed in the treatment of acne vulgaris since Gautier1 reported its efficacy in 1897. Pusey2 was the first to utilize this mode of therapy in the United States. Technics were rapidly established, and it was soon evident that an efficient tool had been discovered.Although the majority of adolescent boys and about half of the girls develop some degree of acne, the condition spontaneously clears in a year or two in most young patients.
