Q-Value Measurements for Phosphorus and Chlorine

Abstract
Targets containing phosphorus and chlorine have been bombarded by protons accelerated by the ONR-Bartol Van de Graaff generator. Charged particles from nuclear reactions have been analyzed at 90° by using a 180° double-focusing magnetic spectrometer. The following ground-state -values have been determined: , Mev; , Mev; , Mev. The following level positions have been measured: , 1.264±0.004 Mev; , 2.129±0.014 Mev; , 1.219±0.005 Mev and 1.760±0.004 Mev.
