Abstract
New compressibility data on 18 organic solids are reported. Measurements on a number of these solids have been made for the first time. Compressibilities up to 45 kbar were determined by observing piston displacement in a static high‐pressure apparatus. Related compounds show a progressive decrease in compressibility with increase in molecular volume. Keywords
