The stability of Poiseuille flow in a pipe

Abstract
Numerical calculations show that the flow of viscous incompressible fluid in a circular pipe is stable to small axisymmetric disturbances at all Reynolds numbers. These calculations are linked with known asymptotic results.Keywords
