Automated Determination of Glucose in Serum or Plasma by a Direct o-Toluidine Procedure

Abstract
An automated determination of glucose with o-toluidine is described. Microquantities (0.04 ml) of plasma or serum are added directly to one reagent, without dialysis, to produce a green color that follows Beer’s law over a wide range of concentrations. This method compares favorably with a manual o-toluidine procedure.
