Abstract
The maximum energy and the average energy of the recoil atoms from , which emits - and probably also -rays, have been determined to 51.5±2 ev and 29±1 ev, respectively. The maximum recoil energy agrees closely with the maximum energy 2.4 Mev for the -particles.
