ALLERGENICITY OF COW'S MILK PROTEIN

Abstract
Our immunochemical analysis by serumagar precipitation indicates that heat-denatured milks, as compared to homogenized milks, have completely lost their ability to elicit an antigenic reaction with lactalbumin antibodies. In these experiments heat-denatured milks as compared to homogenized milks were markedly reduced in their ability to react antigenically with alpha-casein and beta-lactaglobulin antisera.
