Periurethral Polytetrafluoroethylene Injection for Urinary Incontinence

Abstract
Patients (165) with urinary incontinence from a wide variety of causes were tested with periurethral polytetrafluoroethylene injections. Results were good to excellent in .apprx. 75% of the cases. Injections averaged < 2/person. Complications were minimal and the procedure was well tolerated. Polytetrafluoroethylene injections do not contradict subsequent surgery should it become necessary.This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
