Abstract
The method described for the estimation of grain densities in autoradiography uses a microscope with dark ground illumination. By means of a photoelectric cell the light scattered by the developed grains over a defined cell area is measured. An approximately linear relationship is found between photoelectric current and grain count. Tests of the method are described. Keywords
