Abstract
A numerical method for the solution of an integral equation of the type encountered in the Kirkwood‐Riseman theory of intrinsic viscosities of flexible macromolecules is investigated. The absolute accuracy and rate of convergence of the method are evaluated for a special case and the results of this method are compared with another recently proposed method of solution. Keywords
