Abstract
The granularity of a monochrome chromogenic film has been determined. Granularities of both the dye image and its associated silver image, after bleaching the dye image, have been measured when processed in the recommended developer. For comparison with the granularities of the dye and silver images, the granularity of the silver image, processed in a conventional black- and-white developer, has also been determined. Reasonable agreement was obtained between measured values of granularity for the dye image and those predicted from the Saunders' granularity model.
