Abstract
We derive the correlation functions appropriate for a small concentration of atoms diffusing in a simple crystal with a random distribution of simple traps. Although we use a variation of the usual -matrix method, our results are valid for arbitrarily deep traps and for all trap concentrations consistent with the condition that no two trapping sites are nearest neighbors. Further, we take into acount the process whereby a trapped atom is freed when another atom falls into the trap.
