Abstract
Lattice dynamics of rubidium halides have been studied on the basis of a theoretical model recently developed by Verma and Singh (1969) by including the effect of three body forces into the framework of the shell model. The results of the calculation are found to agree fairly well with the available experimental data on dispersion relations, second order Raman spectra and specific heats. Keywords
