Abstract
Shows the following succession of floras of the "age of angiosperms" in Patagonia: An Upper Cretaceous flora of cosmopolitan aspect in the Salamanca stage from Cerro Baguales and Cerro Guido; a paleocene (?) flora in the Rio Chico formation from Cerro Funes; an eogene flora widely distributed from many localities and consisting essentially of Fagus and Nothofagus; and a lower Miocene immigration from the north of broad leaf and mild climate dicotyledons at Marhoja and Rio Pichileufu.
