Abstract
A procedure for the determination of progesterone in plasma is described. By means of a reaction with sulfuric acid-ethanol, 0.5 [mu]g. of progesterone may be determined. The preliminary application of this method to the estimation of progesterone in 10 ml. of pregnancy plasma and 15-20 ml. of normal plasma indicates that levels of plasma progesterone can be studied. Keywords
