Abstract
The lowest confined mode in a coaxial ring resonator is investigated. Data are given about the Q of the mode, the eigenelectric dipole at resonance, and the structure of the electric field surrounding the resonator. The data are valid for high, but finite values of epsilon/sub r/.Keywords
