Abstract
A class in business eom munications at Southern Illi nois University made a survey of the variety and nature of communications problems as seen through the eyes of St. Louis-area businessmen at sev eral levels of management. Among the significant findings were that all but 9 of the 112 persons interviewed said com munications caused trouble for them, and 75 persons (88 per cent) ranked communications first or second as a source of trouble.
