Me, a Blood Factor Common to the Antigenic Properties M and He

Abstract

A rabbit antiserum has been described which detects a blood factor shared by blood having either the M or the He antigens. This finding again points up the multiplicity of blood factors corresponding to any single antigen. Failure to allow for such complexities can lead to serious errors in M-N typing, with resulting false exclusions of paternity in medicolegal cases.
