Abstract
The status of the HPC project for the DELPHI electromagnetic shower counter at LEP is described, including a new construction method for the lead converter structure. Results from test beam measurement on the transverse and longitudinal shower development are presented, together with performance figures for spatial and angular resolution.Keywords
