Abstract
The He–H interaction energy has been calculated by an SCF open‐shell procedure due to Roothaan. Results obtained are in good agreement with the interaction deduced from atomic‐beam measurements of Amdur and Mason. The present calculation has yielded lower values for the short‐range potential than other comparable theoretical calculations.Keywords
