Abstract
A class of parity-favored electric dipole transitions are classed as "dynamically unfavored" with a photoparticle angular distribution parameter β1. This deviation from the elementary-model value β=2 results when the squared pseudoscalar operator (jt·r^)2 is nonzero. Herrick's SO(4) classification singles out doubly excited P1. continuum eigenchannels of H and He with (jt·r^)20 or 1. Most of the photoelectrons should have (jt·r^)21, i.e., β1.
