Abstract
100 mg. of cortisone acetate intramusc. daily for 6 days failed to alter the clinical course of a primiparous patient with toxemia. During treatment, urinary Na excretion rose; but NH4Cl therapy produced a greater rise. Erythrocyte Na fell and K rose. The electrophoretic pattern of plasma protein was not greatly altered. The urinary protein pattern resembled the plasma. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
