Abstract
Known amounts of soil were added to clean samples of ryegrass and white clover. There were no differences between soil contamination estimations by the titanium method and the dry ashing method, and it is concluded that the latter can measure soil contamination of herbage accurately. Application of the method is briefly discussed. Keywords
