Abstract
A bimanual irrigation/aspiration (I/A) device was developed to allow safer, easier removal of the lens cortex after phacoemulsification. The device can be used in cases of subincisional cortex, small pupils, flat anterior chambers, subluxated lenses, or previous damaged anterior segments. It can also minimize vitreous complications in cases of a posterior capsule rupture. Keywords
