Abstract
In Florida [USA] 21 spp. of Endogonaceae [Glomus mosseae, G. macrocarpus, G. fasciculatus, G. etunicatus, G. microcarpus, G. tenuis, G. fulvus, G. clarus sp. nov., Sclerocystis coremioides, S. sinuosa, S. rubiformis, Gigaspora gregaria sp. nov., G. heterogama, G. nigra sp. nov., G. margarita, G. gigantea, G. pellucida sp. nov., G. rosea sp. nov., Acaulospora laevis, A. trappei, A. gerdemannii sp. nov.] forming vesicular-arbuscular mycorrhizae are reported. Eight species of the genus Glomus, including a new species G. clarus, and 3 species of Sclerocystis make up the chlamydosporic species found in Florida. Seven species of Gigaspora, including 4 new species, G. nigra, G. pellucida, G. rosea, and G. gregaria, and 3 species of Acaulospora, including 1 new species, A. gerdemannii, make up the azygosporic species found. Ten species are reported from Florida for the 1st time. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
