Abstract
The occurrence of Loa loa, Wuchereria bancrofti. Onchocerca volvulus and Acanthocheilonema perstans in Sudan is established. It is suggested that some vector other than Chrysops must also be active in distributing Loa loa. Therapeutic use of various drugs is discussed. Skin antigens prepared from avian filariae showed promise and such antigens merit further intensive study.
