Abstract
The deviations of nuclear magnetic moments from the Schmidt limits are interpreted in terms of a failure of coupling, and a simple interpolation procedure is applied to compute the statistical weight of the components with and . The results below odd or are sufficiently regular to be used to compute the magnetic moments of several odd neutron nuclei.
