Analysis of Angular Distributions in theC13(α, n)O16Reaction

Abstract

From the study of the angular distributions in the ${\mathrm{C}}^{13}(\alpha , n){\mathrm{O}}^{16}$ reaction, angular momentum assignments have been obtained for thirteen states of the compound nucleus, ${\mathrm{O}}^{17}$. Some relative parity assignments were made on the basis of interference effects.
