Abstract
An avidin‐biotin‐peroxidase method of immunoperoxidase staining was successfully adapted for detection of duck plague virus antigen in formalin‐fixed, paraffin‐embedded tissue sections of the liver and spleen of experimentally infected domestic ducks. Positive staining was localized mostly in the nucleus but was also present in the cytoplasm of a few hepatocytes and von Küpffer cells of the liver, and lymphocytes and reticular cells of the spleen. Keywords
