Abstract
That metals can exist in the molten state has been known to man for thousands of years, yet only in the last two decades has intensive interest been shown in their properties. The impetus for this has come from the organizations dealing with the design and construction of atomic reactors, both in Great Britain and in the United States. More recently, interest has been growing in the possibilities of using liquid metals in magnetohydrodynamic applications, in fuel cells,4 and various other applications. Keywords
