Problems of cell nomenclature in cervical cytology smears. Recommendations of a working party of the British Society for Clinical Cytology.

Abstract
A standard nomenclature is proposed to describe normal human uterine cytology and histology. Descriptions of malignant and premalignant cells are also standardized. The term dyskaryosis is recommended to describe nuclear abnormalities.
