Abstract
Visceral cancer may be reflected on the skin as true metastases or by processes which, while not of themselves cancerous, may indicate or presage the presence of visceral cancer. This is an old story but with increasing prolongation of life with greater possibility of development of cancer, repeated emphasis of these aspects and correlates of cancer is necessary. It is especially necessary to emphasize the value of biopsy. Attention to seemingly small lesions may be lifesaving.
