Abstract
An HF laser was used to directly pump various isotopic forms of CO2. Intense laser emission was observed on numerous lines in the 4.3‐, 10.6‐, and 17‐μm regions. All observed 4.3‐ and 17‐μm CO2 laser emission lines were assigned. The pressure dependence of lasing spectra and laser pulse temporal features were examined. Keywords
