Abstract
In Scotland, since 1975–1979 (world) age-standardised incidence of squamous cell carcinoma of the anus has more than doubled, reaching 0.37 per 100 000 in males and 0.55 in females during 1998–2002, being somewhat higher in socioeconomically deprived areas.Keywords
