Incidence of drug and alcohol intake in road traffic accident victims

Abstract
The analysis of 425 samples of blood, taken from people killed in motor vehicle accidents, showed that drugs were present in about 10% of samples, whereas alcohol was present in 51%. All drugs identified were available on prescription, and the most commonly found drug was diazepam.Keywords
