Abstract
There are many theories of addiction but few are validated. Multiple causation, as well as a variety of treatment techniques and procedures, needs to be accepted as a reality. The literature that considers the family of the addicts and the stepping stone theory is reviewed. This publication has 30 references indexed in Scilit:
