Abstract
A review of methods employed in surgical treatment of intrathoracic aneurysms of the aorta and its major branches. One form consists of various means to promote thrombosis and fibrotic organization. Another form is endoaneurysmorrhaphy, either obliterative, restorative or reconstructive. Finally, excision has been attempted.Keywords
