Abstract
Patients suffering from uni or bilateral laryngeal paralysis frequently require surgical management for best possible rehabilitation. As with any surgical procedure the potential for complications or less than optimal results exists. The Otolaryngologist-Head and Neck Surgeon who wishes to provide best possible care for his patient must understand not only the indications for these surgical procedures, but also the complications that may be expected, so that every possible effort can be made to avoid or minimize them. Keywords
